Since 1986, Process Valve & Instruments has been supplying quality industrial valves and accessories to clients in Birmingham, Alabama, and all across the country. Over the years, with countless hands-on experiences, we have become quite competent and knowledgeable. We take pride in being one of the best and most reputable firms in this industry.
How We Grew to be a Big Supplier of Industrial Valves and Instruments
The state of Alabama is an industrial region with outputs from aerospace products to automotive manufacturing, electronics, and the oil and gas industry. In addition, steel and iron products are another major industrial output here. These factories have made Alabama a great place for the growth of different suppliers, such as industrial valves and the instruments that are necessary for almost all these industrial facilities.
With hard work and client loyalty, we gained a good reputation for our competence in supplying valves, instrumentation, fittings, actuators, and other accessories all over Alabama. Little by little, our services expanded to neighboring areas, such as the Florida Panhandle. And now our distribution of high-quality industrial products covers the whole United States.
On this journey, we have also proudly cooperated with prominent governmental establishments and organizations, such as NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, The U.S. Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center, The Naval Surface Warfare Center, The Navy Experimental Dive Unit all located in Panama City, Florida.
Making tough jobs easier.
About Chuck Jones, President
Chuck Jones grew up in Huntsville, AL where he attended Huntsville High School. Upon graduating from HHS, he earned a BA in Business, with a Marketing Concentration, from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL. He then began selling Caterpillar industrial equipment professionally.
Chuck entered the automation field when he moved from the Forklift Division and into the Power Systems Division of Thompson Tractor Co. During that time, Chuck worked on projects from residential standby gen sets to data centers, marine propulsion projects as well as prime power applications for offshore oil and gas platforms and various military bases. While the majority of his work involved the southeastern USA, his work included projects and travels to Sakhalin Island, Russia; Vancouver Island, Canada; and Birmingham, England.
Progressing from sales and into executive management, he has worked at various Caterpillar and independent southeastern USA dealerships through 2014. In 2014, Chuck purchased Process Valve & Instruments and TRANS-VALVE. Both companies were located in Leeds, AL, and have since moved to Hardware Park in downtown Birmingham, AL. Process Valve & Instruments makes tough jobs easier for industrial factories, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) & governmental/military operations by supplying quality products, knowledge, and experience and helping them to maximize uptime, increase output, decrease operating costs, improve safety, reduce inventory with just in time deliveries, gain consistency and add automation.
